I enjoy writing blogs on this site. It is easy to set an account and use the tools - in fact you can't really go wrong ... blogging is a really a chance for just about anyone to write about their opinions & views. The blogs seem to be well listed with google's search engine but not so much with other search engines. The site offers a pretty good online community and reaches a worldwide audience. Also there is a great new tool called the Internet blooger play google gadget. If you're into fiction writing, you can write a story and include a podcast, videoblog, or photoblog. The idea here is to have a mass effect on public awareness by sharing as many ideas in as many ways as possible.

Blogger gives you an easy and search engine friendly blog address to use http://yourblog.blogspot.com. For first time bloggers and professionals this blog host is great. You don't need any HTML knowledge and can add different elements to your blogs including banners, photos and videos. You can choose from different blog themes already available or customise your own. You can also add Google Adsense ads to monetise your blog using their easy features. Plus you can add your own using the add page features function by copying and pasting the HTML code Google gives you. You can also choose where to place ads around your blog and change them around on the page when you want. You can also customise your posts by adding social bookmarking tags and signatures in the formatting section. Blogspot.com is a great and free blog host service and 1000's are already using it to host their blogs. There isn't any spam in comments either which is good and I haven't noticed any downtime

Blogger.com is a great site. It allows you to create your own blog, and they also have many blogs for you to read and enjoy. The site has excellent features that allow you to start your own blog, and all these features are extremely easy to use. No technical or coding knowledge is required to start publishing your very own blog. The only con of blogger.com is that they have too MANY blogs. This is the cause of a few problems: one, it is somewhat hard to find a blog to read, as I would estimate that Blogger probably has over 100,000 blogs (navigating all these different blogs can be somewhat challenging). The second problem is from a blog publishing standpoint-it is kind of hard to get your specific blog noticed on Blogger, as they have so many blogs as i mentioned before. Overall, i would say Blogger is a good and useful site, but does take a little getting used to.
