Gamespot Review
GameSpot is a video gaming website that provides news, reviews, previews, downloads, and other information. I have found this site very useful over the years. Rather it was to check out the latest and up coming games, or to just check out some screenshots, gamespot has always been helpful.
For years, I have looked to gamespot to basically, see what’s hot and what’s not. Although gamespot does have a reputation for rating games pretty harshly, I for one believe that they are generally correct. Besides, if you don’t want to take their criticism into account, then you can also look at what the users have to say. My advise to anyone is don’t always go on what others say, sometimes you have to find out for yourself. But, for the most part, gamespot will save you money from a bunch of rent only games or in some cases, no purchase at all.
GameSpot's main page has links to the latest news, reviews, previews, and portals for the Wii, Nintendo DS, PC, Xbox 360, PSP, PS2, and PS3. They also include a list of the most popular games on the site and a search engine for users to find the exact game they are looking for. For you older gamers who were playing games before the Playstation and Xbox era, you will find that it is fairly simple to find games for the older systems like the Dreamcast, Game Boy , Sega, Sega Saturn, Classic Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and etc…..
I think its safe to say that my experience with gamespot over the last 6 years or so has been nothing but helpful and I would recommend this site for anyone who wants to know before they find out.

GameFAQs is a website that hosts FAQs and walkthroughs for video games. Although this site is powered by gamespot. I have been using this site for about four years now and I have found it to be very useful. I have meet many people over the years who share the same desire for gaming as I.
When I first came across this site, I was just searching for cheat codes for GTA Vice City (I don’t use cheats anymore). I was pleased with how easy it was to find them and that there were also user submitted cheats and glitches. Began using the message board shortly after and was immediately hooked.
I began using the message board to chat with other members about problems and solutions of games. Most of all, I loved chatting about things that should have been in games or should be in the upcoming sequels. I believe that game creaators look at this site and actually take our ideas into account.
Overall, I can say that this is a great site and a good way to meet people who love games just as much as you.

• Site is not very appealing to the eye.
• Membership sign up
• Personal profile for all members ( Facebook Type)
• Ads for other sites and Madden cheat sites
• Message board and forums for anyone to view (Not very up to date)
• Multiple Arcade games for members with 50 post in the forums
• Sim League for all members
• Casino games including black jack, roulette, slots, etc….for all members
• Currency is in points and bank points. ( you start with 10 points)
• The users history is recorded and displayed on the website (Most sold items, richest users, etc……)
• Users can give and/or steal from other users
• Xbox Live leader board that does not display all of the stated results.
• Unhelpful Faq search engine
• List of all members and a little info on theme.
• A New Post link with information that users have recently posted.

• Users display a list of encountered glitchers and quitters
• Members list very easy to use
