What To Look For When Choosing Internet Service Providers (ISPs)

Feature Name
Feature Description
Dial-up vs. Broadband Speed Look for ISPs that offer broadband type speeds versus dial-up speeds. The Internet is becoming more media focused with video and large downloadable files so using dial-up just does not cut it anymore. Try to find the best speed (anything over 56kbs) at the best price.
Cost / Price Look for services that offer promotional prices such as one month free or lowered monthly fees for 3 months. Look for the lowest monthly cost possible. Because most Internet speeds (to the average consumer) are all the same, some ISP's charge more for basically the same speed that other providers offer for less.
