There is a list of Gigs and Live Music events with a search capability allowing you to search using a zip code, plus musicians can add their own live performance information. MusicForte was founded in 2003 and now has offices in New York, Chicago, Phoenix, San Francisco and Japan. Their forums are a hive of activity also giving you the opportunity to collaborate with other musicians on music projects. Music Forte offers to upgrade options: The Customer Advantage Program provides 30 monthly downloads for only $15/month. That's just 50 cents per song! But that's not all. Every month, you will also receive a CD of your choice! The artist receives the money for EVERY sale, and you can feel proud to know that you are truly supporting Independent Music. The platinum plan is for affiliates andcosts $15 a month - allowing you to earn an income by introducing new musicians and members to the site, plus you can download 30 songs each month as a Platinum member. The only problem I had is there is a lot of information on their landing pages and I found the size of the text very small and difficult to read.
